Truly amazing weigh in

I seriously can’t believe that I’m typing this, but…

I have gained no weight this week.

Considering I ate an entire bag of chips last night (while watching The Biggest Loser) and the invasion of the Halloween candy, it truly is amazing that I did not gain any weight.

I can’t take back the bag o’ chips, but I can do something about the candy. I let Jake and Emma choose 10 pieces of candy each (notice the lack of chocolate in the picture) and I chose some pieces to go into the candy jar that we use for lunches…mostly Smarties and Dum-Dums.

The rest? Is going to work with Dave. He can deal with it. And he will…he doesn’t really like candy so it’ll last a while.

Overall, I can’t complain too much, but I’ll look forward to seeing a loss next week!

Side note: I finally donated the 50 lbs of food to the food bank!

    I can't believe the amount of candy that is going away- good for you! I am totally doing that but I might just have to throw ours out since the hubby is traveling again. Congrats, hooker T!!!!

    great idea about the candy - depriving yourself would just make you want it that much more. and indulging would probably make you sick.

    Way to go Thea!! I cannot believe the number of M&M's in that picture. Buying my kids candy is *exactly* what I want to do too.

    The M&Ms are what's left over from what we were passing out, that's why there's so many!

    It was totally the squat holds. You should do them every week. For real. I'm putting them on the list for every single week.

  • Thea, you and I are on the same page, girl!! I'm buying my son's candy and trashing it. I did tell him he could keep 5 pieces, and I'll keep a few for treats, but that's it!!

    Congrats on not gaining! You can probably thank Jillian, I mean April, for her last chance workout last night. I'm sure it helped cancel out that bag of chips!!
